About

Hi my name is Karla and I absolutely LOVE design and decor and making a house a home. You could say my design style is transitional chic with touches of vintage flair, modern furnishings and quirky finds. My husband and I frequent flea markets in search of the perfect piece to recreate and make our own. In designing and styling, I find that I am utterly obsessed with many things but primarily: beautiful chairs, wallpaper, and that last little trinket for the finishing touch!

I have always wanted to create a blog but now is the opportune time. My husband and I just relocated to North Carolina from Downtown Boston and are having a house built! So…this is my canvas to showcase my design and decor ideas and hopefully, get inspiration back from you, my readers.

Good things don’t come quick or easy but hopefully with my many hours of design dedication (shhh don’t tell my full-time employer) I have all the tools in place as well as ideas in mind to create a space that is creative, cozy, unexpected, and ultimately one to call HOME!

As I mentioned, I’m not an interior designer by career but certainly, by heart! I love envisioning a space that exemplifies the people living in it and hopefully, you will get to learn and know me through my design and decor inspiration and finds.

Please leave me comments as I love to hear your feedback and know my readers! Thank you for stopping by. Cheers!
