A new home furnishing store, Nadeau – Furniture with a Soul – recently opened in good ol’ Raleigh and I of course had to visit on its opening day and many days thereafter! It’s quite a treat going in there because not only do they have unique, one-of-a-kind pieces (never mass-produced), but they’re amazingly affordable! Their merchandise isn’t what you’d find at a big chain – their pieces are always inspiring and offer a real cultural feel. The culture of their pieces come from the extensive travel their team does throughout the year to deliver that one-of-a-kind look! They don’t offer online shopping, but they’re very active with Facebook and always update their followers on their newest deliveries and affordable price tags!
Here are some of my favorite finds from Nadeau:
How bold and worldly is this orange, Moroccan-inspired buffet? Love it!
I’ve still got my eyes on this sweet little accent table which doubles as storage which hides behind a mesh and wood door.
This Hollywood light will make its way home with me one of these days and that’s a promise!
You could use this Baby Changing Table from birth to college; it really is a versatile piece if you position it right!
The glossy black console with storage for magazines is a clever and artistic piece for a living room or on your way upstairs.
More nursery furniture with storage and for a fraction of the price!
There’s just something about those spindle legs, gray fabric, and text on this French-Industrial bench that screams “Take me Home”!
I had a serious crush on the ornate sideboard; I mean it could really fit in so many spaces and design tastes.
If you’re in the Raleigh area, definitely check them out and if you get chumsy with them (like me) they may just give you a sneak peek of their newest deliveries in the back room!
